Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s growing closeness has set the social media abuzz for a while. The duo has been spotted together for a number of times at various Bollywood events. In fact, they arrived for Padmaavat special screening together which led to further speculations about their relationship status. It is no more a secret that Ranbir and Alia are spending a considerable amount of time together. They were even spotted dropping by at each other’s place a number of times now. All these incidents altogether had the grapevine abuzz that the Brahmastra couple is dating in real life as well.
A couple of days ago, another report was doing rounds on social media. According to the recent report, Alia Bhatt is not dating Ranbir Kapoor but instead seeing Hike co-founder Kavin Mittal.
However, another Filmfare report is saying that Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji might be the reason why these rumours started at first place. According to the sources, Ayan wanted Ranbir and Alia’s chemistry to look genuine on screen so he advised them to spend some time together and get comfortable with each other.
This seems plausible as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started hanging out with each other too much, after their Tel Aviv schedule of Brahmastra. The actor remains unfazed by these dating rumours and even met his team to discuss these rumours. He doesn’t want these rumours to take the attention away from the film.
Talking about Brahmastra, the fiction drama stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It is all set to go on floors next month. It is made as a fantasy trilogy, the first instalment of which will come out in 2019.
