New York, Mar 18: Pop singer Lady Gaga is using a 24k gold plated wheelchair, specially created for her by Ken Borochov of luxury brand Mordekai, after she underwent a right hip surgery, cancelling the remainder of her US tour.
The gold-plated wheelchair has a black tufted calf leather seat and a removable leather canopy.
The wheelchair has a padded leg rest and even gold-plated brakes.
The 26-year-old singer refused to limp around on scruffy old crutches and opted for a gold-plated wheelchair.
Left with limited mobility after undergoing surgery on her hip, the 26-year-old was never going to be limping around on scruffy old crutches.
Gaga posted a picture of the wheelchair chair on Twitter last month introducing it to her followers as 'Emma'.
Lady Gaga had a labral tear of the right hip, after which she cancelled the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour of the US.
Says designer Borochov: "We created the 'chariot' in a week and took inspiration from a throne.
