London, June 4: Rock band Rolling Stones want to rope in singer Adele for their upcoming performance at Hyde Park here.
The band, which comprises of Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts, has already got Lady Gaga, Paloma Faith and Florence Welch on board for the grand performance.
The group is still trying their luck as Adele has not been very social post the birth of her son Angelo, in October last year, reports thesun.co.uk.
"The Stones would love to get Adele on with them. It would be a massive coup, even for them, because she's been a bit reclusive since her son Angelo James was born," a source said.
“She is the name they want to announce as their special guest - and their invite should be special enough to get her out on stage," the source added.
The performance at the Hyde Park will be part of Rolling Stone's ongoing 50 & Counting Tour and will take place July 6. The band will be performing at the venue after 44 years.
