London: British model Katie Price has opened up about her past revealing that she was sexually assaulted by a stranger when she was all of seven.
She disclosed this information during her weekly show on uncensored internet radio station Fubar, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"I was a in a park in a bush when I was 7 - my mum was getting an ice cream. I can still picture the man's face and ginger hair. I couldn't say how old he is now, as to me he was an older guy. But you never forget, you just don't forget," she said.
The 36-year-old recollected that although the police came "and took (her) knickers away", her abuser was never caught.
She even told co-host Mark Dolan that her past experiences with abuse may have led her to pursue a career in modelling.
"In the past, I've been in situations where I've been groped by men, raped and I suffered sexual abuse when I was younger. I've been let down by men, obviously, and is that why I did the glamour job? Was it a case of, 'You can look at me but never touch me'?
"With the mens' mags and interviews, it was always a case I was in control - look at me, w*** over me but you haven't got me. It's weird how your life makes these paths," she said.
Price had earlier shared that she was raped by a "famous celebrity", but she hasn't named the person so far.
