Choppers, bouncers and gunmen guarding Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts -- all lies, say aides close to the actress who is shooting here for the movie 'Eat Pray Love'.
The actress who has been in the spotlight ever since her arrival in the country is miffed by reports which claimed that she has an extravagant security net, including helicopters and bouncers, around Pataudi Palace hotel where she is staying.
"Reports of a chopper invigilating Pataudi palace was absolutely false and there are no bouncers surrounding her. We have hired a security agency which is taking care of her security along with the local police," a source close to Roberts told PTI.
"The media should have acted responsibly and rechecked their facts before publishing stories," the source added.
The 41-year-old actress was at her cheerful best while shooting for a market scene here and waved to the mediapersons gathered while heading to the set.
Reports of villagers becoming sore due to the visit of the actress have also been denied by the locals.
"Everything has been very peaceful and we are very happy and lucky that our village is getting global recognition because of her visit," a villager said.
"We are halfway through our shooting and it has been really good with the locals. We have them as extras on the sets and around 300-400 people gathered outside and on their terraces to watch the shoot," the source said.
Roberts is staying at the Pataudi Palace hotel with her three kids, four-and-a-half-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and two-year-old son Henry.
In the movie, the actress plays the character of an author Elizabeth Gilbert who travels around the world in search of love and peace.
Directed by Ryan Murphy, the screen adaptation of the international bestseller memoir 'Eat Pray Love' also stars Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup and Richard Jenkins.
After shooting for some more days at the Ashram Hari Mandir in Pataudi, the crew will be heading to Bali to shoot the remaining part of the film.
