Los Angeles, Sep 15 : Singer Jennifer Lopez says it was a tough decision to end her marriage with musician husband Marc Anthony as she didn't want to break the family.
"You never want to break up a family. That wasn't my dream. My dream was for us to always be together," Lopez, who has four-year-old twins Max and Emme with Anthony, said on a TV show.
"But things don't work out, and you feel like it's the better choice. If I didn't feel it was the better choice, I wouldn't have done it, you know?" she added.
However, the 43-year-old star is proud how she and Anthony are handling their co-parenting duties, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"We're doing good with it. We love our kids and we have love for each other and we always will. We were friends from before and we're friends now," she said.
