Montreal: Actress Jennifer Lawrence, who was in the city to film her upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse", made a surprise visit to a children's hospital.
"The Hunger Games" actress went to Shriners Hospitals for Children on Saturday, and even posed for photographs with the children and staff members there, reports aceshowbiz.com.
A post on the Facebook page of the hospital read: "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today. Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time."
The actress wore a washed grey top paired with white skinny pants, black sandals and tied up her blonde hair in a messy bun.
In one photograph, the "Serena" actress posed alongside a little boy in a wheelchair. Another image showed her posing alongside a boy with a walker and some staff members. She also signed on the cast of another boy's arm.
Lawrence stars in "X-Men: Apocalypse" along with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne and Olivia Munn.
Directed by Bryan Singer, the ninth instalment of the "X-Men" film series is scheduled to be released in the US on May 27, 2016.
