Greater Noida, oct 29: US singer Lady Gaga, replendent in her jaw-dropping outfit told mediapersons on Friday that she guessed she was an Indian hippie.

She said: ‘I am, I guess, an Indian hippie.

‘I work very hard, so everyone of my performances are so different. We have built a special stage for the show on Sunday which is unique for India.

‘I am going to perform some of my collaborations with Indian DJs.

‘My outfit is going to be a hybrid of my vision and the Indian vision.

‘I have modernised it a bit. There will be some surprises and I am very excited for you to see my show.'

She added that she was looking forward to seeing more of the country.

‘I am extremely grateful to the people for welcoming me here. The sights in India are beautiful, but most beautiful are the people.

‘I can't wait to come back here and see more of my fans.'

‘For me, my experience of music and my relationship with music is as experimental as possible,' she said.

The Daily Mail reports that the singer's efforts to crack the lucrative South Asian market have seen her release Bollywood-style remixes of hit singles such as Just Dance, Born This Way and Judas.

In the latest of a handful of more demure outfits, the 25-year-old donned an asymmetrical gown by Indian-American designer Naeem Khan.

She topped off with the look with a large bun piled on top of her head in the colours of the Indian flag.

At one point she wore dark sunglasses and drank from her trademark tea-cup.

Last week, the singer looked like a modern day Audrey Hepburn as she stepped out in New York in a simple black dress and elegant jewellery.

Gaga talked to a room packed full of journalists ahead of her performance at a Formula One after-party on Sunday.

It is part of India's debut on the F1 circuit.

Up to 100,000 fans are expected at the Buddh International Circuit for the race, with the cheapest tickets costing 2,500 rupees ($50).

But separate tickets will be needed for Lady Gaga's concert, which is one of a series of glitzy after-race parties.
