Los Angeles: Singer Chris Brown has reportedly been sentenced to 1,000 extra hours of community service after being accused of submitting bogus community service reports for the 1,440 hours he was originally asked to complete.

The 24-year-old was asked to complete the community service for beating ex-girlfriend, pop star Rihanna in 2009.

While Brown's probation was revoked after he was accused of a hit-and-run last month, the judge reinstated it in court, here on the condition that Brown complies with his latest judgement, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

He was earlier allowed to undertake his previous sentence in his home state, Virginia, but this time he will have to complete all hours here under the supervision of County officials.

He can choose between highway clean-up, beach clean-up, probation alternative work services (PAWS), or graffiti removal.

The singer collapsed at Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood last week and suffered a non-epileptic seizure (NES).

"While in the studio working, Chris suffered a non-epileptic seizure. He was not taken to hospital," said a source.

"His doctor attended to him and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity," the source added.
