Conscious uncoupling! Gwyneth Paltrow splits with husband Chris Martin (see pics)

In a rather unusual way of declaring a split Gwyneth Paltrow surprised her fans and loved ones with the news of her split with husband Coldplay member Chris Martin after 10 years of marriage.The separation announcement came as a shocking post that Gwyneth & Chris posted on her Goop website, saying "We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. 'We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. The couple then signed off by writing 'Love Gwyneth & Chris"The couple who remained married for 10 years finally decided to separate after failing to sort out their marital issue since one year. Gwyneth says, the couple tried whatever way possible to make their marriage work but it just couldn't be.The couple is being touted for getting the most civilized break-up ever. Both Gwyneth and Chris Martin have decided to remain as a family for their kids Apple (9) and Moses (7). According to a leading daily, Chris gifted Gwyneth with a painting of a white bird flying signifying the afresh start in their lives.
