Los Angeles, Jan 11: Justin Bieber's former bodyguard Moshe Benabou has filed a lawsuit against the teen sensation alleging that the singer punched him in his chest multiple times during a heated argument.
He has also accused Bieber of not paying him his overtime despite his working for 14 to 18 hours a day. He is seeking unspecified damages on the alleged assault and $421,261 on unpaid overtime, vacation and other wage benefits, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Benabou worked as Bieber's bodyguard from March 2011 to October 2012.
"For nearly two years Mr. Benabou devoted himself completely to ensuring Mr. Bieber's personal safety. He deserved, as does any employee, to be treated with respect, dignity and in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, he was not," said Benabou's lawyer.
There has been no official statement from Bieber in response to the lawsuit.
