Los Angeles, Feb 20: Actress Jessica Alba says that she never thought that "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" will ever actually go on floors as it was delayed for a long.
The movie is a sequel of 2005 movie "Sin City", in which Alba played the role of Nancy Callahan. Due to the delay in the new movie, she had lost the enthusiasm to start working on it again.
"Every six months to a year it was like, 'We're going to do it, when's the next one coming? Oh yeah, we're going to do it. We're going to do it.' And then at a certain point, it was just like okay. I just didn't believe it," collider.com quoted Alba as saying.
For the 31-year-old, starting the shoot of the crime thriller was like a dream come true.
"When we actually got the start date and I was there on the set, it was like a dream. I was like, 'Am I really here? Are we really here? Okay, just making sure.' So yeah, it was surreal and for all of us, it's really cool," she said.
"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" also stars Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson and Powers Boothe. It is expected to release later this year.
