New Delhi: Actors Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan’s chemistry in a special song from upcoming movie ‘Dishoom’ is creating all the right waves. The song titled ‘Jaaneman Aah’ was unveiled today and the lady of the song revealed at a media interaction that the on screen kiss was Varun’s idea.

“It was Varun’s idea that we should have a kiss at the end of the song. On the day of the shoot, Rohit (director) wasn’t there so that’s when Varun popped the idea,” said Parineeti Chopra.

“But this was not known to anyone on the sets including Ahmed Khan (choreographer). When the kiss happened everyone was shocked seeing the addition,” Parineeti told reporters in Mumbai at the song launch event.

Parineeti also sang praises for Varun Dhawan appreciating his energy.

“Varun is so energetic…he likes improvisation. He is spontaneous,” she said.

Varun and Parineeti got two days to practice for the song and it was shot in just one take.

“The idea was to get that 90s feel of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor for this song. We hope we have done justice to it. We both are perfect for this song,” Varun said.

Considering that the song was a first special number for Parineeti, Varun was worried whether she would do it.

“Parineeti is doing a cameo in the film. We can’t reveal what she is playing. I was worried if Parineeti will do this part or not. When I met her at an event and asked her about doing a cameo in ‘Dishoom’ and she agreed,” Varun said.

“Dishoom” directed by Rohit Dhawan stars Varun, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez and is set to release on July 29.
