MTV TV & Movie Awards: Chris Pratt to be honoured with Generation Award
Hosted by Tiffany Haddish, the MTV Movie & TV Awards will take place on June 18th.
Avengers actor Chris Pratt will be honoured with Generation Award at this year’s MTV TV & Movie Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The award will be conferred to the actor in a star-studded ceremony, in the presence of who’s who of tinsel town. According to the MTV, the annual Generation Award is given to the outstanding talent who has made significant contributions in film and television.
Pratt, who can currently be seen in record-breaking blockbuster 'Avengers: Infinity War', became a household name with sitcom 'Parks and Recreation' as Andy Dwyer. He was part of the program for seven seasons. His other film credits include the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' movies, 'Passengers', 'The Magnificent Seven', 'Moneyball' and 'Zero Dark Thirty'.
Previous winners of the Generation Award include Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Adam Sandler, and Jamie Foxx.
Hosted by Tiffany Haddish, the MTV Movie & TV Awards will take place on June 18th.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chris Pratt will be next seen reprising the role of Owen Grady alongside Bryce Dallas Howard in'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'. The movie will hit the theatres on June 22.
