US First Lady Michelle Obama, who will soon bid adieu to White House after Barack Obama completes his tenure, had once turned down a role on "The Simpsons".
She had denied the offer of the popular animated sitcom with a hilarious note.
This secret was revealed by "The Simpsons" co-creator James L. Brooks in an interview to variety.com. He shared that they once tried to get Michelle Obama to play herself in an episode.
Further, Brooks revealed that Michelle turned down the offer by sending a two-word note, when asked about her recent comment about "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" being one of her favourite programmes.
"I did not see that. Yippee! We tried to get her on 'The Simpsons' and we couldn't. We finally got a note that said "good try", because we were so aggressive," Brooks said.
In India, "The Simpsons" currently airs on Star World and Star World HD.
