The seventh season of one of the most popular TV series Game of Thrones has started and fans are on cloud nine to watch their favourite characters finally on screen. But, seems that they have to wait longer for the sequel of the fantasy drama. HBO programming president Casey Bloys has reportedly said that it is yet not decided if the final season of the show will air in 2018. He added that he doesn’t want attention of the audiences to shift from final season.
While taking Bloys also hinted that the final season can also be delayed till 2019. Well, this comes as a sad news for all GoT fans. The current season of the show was also pushed to July and it will have shorter episodes than previous seasons. Casy was not sure how much time it will take to shoot the episodes as it is going to a grand season. He added that spin off shows can be delayed as late as 2020.
This time season 7 was aired late as makers need favourable climate to shoot the episodes. Needless to say, the latest season was worth the wait.
In the first episode, famous singer Ed Sheeran was also seen doing a cameo on the show. GoT made its debut in 2010 and became an instant hit. The series is based on novel of George R.R. Martin.
