Avengers director Joe Russo is currently in India to promote the MCU's much-awaited superhero ensemble, "Endgame", which will hit the theatres on April 26. The filmmaker revealed that the climax of Marvel's 2015 film "Avengers: Age of Ultron" almost had a scene inspired by Rajinikanth's 2010 blockbuster "Robot" ("Enthiran"). "'Robot' almost influenced the climatic moments in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'... In one of the final scenes all the Ultrons were suppose to form a large Ultron and Avengers were set to fight that but the sequence got cut for time. It was this close. I was inspired directly by 'Robot'," he added.

He also said as an action director Indian films like "Dabangg" series were an interesting watch for him. "I'm an action director so I saw 'Dabangg' many years ago. I still have to see 'Dabangg 2'. I thought the camera work was great in those movies. The tone and the energy is also great. So, I certainly know Salman Khan," he added.

Avengers: Endgame will bring together the original Marvel Cinematic Universe’s superheroes that had formed a part of the first Avengers movie. This includes Captian America aka Chris Evans, Iron Man aka Robert Downey Jr, Black Widow aka Scarlett Johansson, Hawkeye aka Jeremy Renner, the Hulk aka Mark Ruffalo and Thor aka Chris Hemsworth.

With one of the biggest villains of MCU, Thanos, wiping out half of the population of the Earth, the makers have hinted that a superhero might lose their life to the Mad Titan. Avengers: Endgame will also see Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, played Brie Larson, fight with the Avengers against Thanos who already holds all six of the infinity stones. Helmed by Marvel Studios and set for distribution by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film is slated to release on April 26.
