When the news of a long overdue concert in India by British rock band ‘Coldplay’ surfaced, their ardent fans couldn’t keep it together. Later, the fans were given a shock of their lives with a tabloid publishing a report that the tickets of the concert will be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 5 lakhs. While this left the fans cold, turns out there is no need to panic as they can get the tickets for free.
Though, the tickets are for free you will have to earn it. As part of the Global Citizen Festival, the concert will be held in India for the first time. On Global Citizen’s official website, it was written that the tickets for the Indian festival are free and will be given to people who take up actions in support of education, equality and sanitation.
