The actors behind the Marvel superheroes recently received special spots on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just before their film "Avengers: Endgame" opened in theatres. Days later, on Sunday, Hemsworth, who portrays Thor, recalled the special moment on Twitter, sharing a sweet childhood memory and a shout-out to his co-stars, reported variety.com.
"I remember many years ago carving my name into wet concrete on the sidewalk outside my grandmas place, little did I know that years on those skills would come in handy," he wrote. "Honoured to share this moment with my Avenging mates on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," Hemsworth added.
Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige were also honoured with the achievement, and all were on hand for a special imprinting ceremony.
Ruffalo also expressed his excitement, writing on Twitter earlier this week: "What an honour to have the legacy of Marvel Studios' Avengers live on forever..."
Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly the most talked about film these days. The film has not just met the expectations of the fans in terms of its story as well as the characters but has left them feeling all the emotions at once. The film has even set fire on the box office with over 100 crores in just two days. Avengers: Endgame has even left Baahubali behind which crossed the 100-crore mark in three days. It won’t be wrong to say that the film is here to set new records and break every existing record with each passing day.
The weekend collection of the film is whopping $ 1.2 billion worldwide with makes Rs 8,384 Crores in Indian currency. According to Disney estimates, the film garnered $350 million in the United States and Canada from Thursday night through Sunday and un China, the world’s second-largest movie market, Endgame collected $330.5 million since its debut on Wednesday.
