New Delhi: The Disney- Marvel superhero drama is showing no sign of slowing down at the box office. The war between Iron Man and Captain America began its international run on April 27 and by Sunday (May 15) earned $940 million (approximately 6278 crores)
Given such a run, it is expected to exceed the $1 billion mark (approximately 6700 crores) by end of this week. Civil war will thus become the sixth superhero title to achieve this benchmark. In this film Chris Evans has returned in the title role in a face off with Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. The movie showed plenty of traction outside U.S, China being the top one. In a matter of ten days, the flick earned $155.8 million (approximately 1042 crores)
Though, the collections of “Captain America: Civil War” dropped by 59% in its second weekend, the earnings seem unaffected. In India the movie has earned Rs 71. 63 crores
