Named in the FIR filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty for allegedly issuing a bogus prescription for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput to help him with his anxiety issues, the associate professor of cardiology at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi, Tarun Kumar has reportedly stopped attending office ever since his name came up in the controversy. IANS tried to contact Tarun Kumar repeatedly over the phone, but his phone was switched off.

Sources in RML said that the doctor has skipped coming to the hospital for more than a week no.

Rhea Chakraborty's plea for bail rejected. The court rejected her bail plea and sent her in judicial custody till September 22 after the NCB said it did
not want her custody as it has already questioned her for three days.

Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde said they will approach sessions court for bail.

Rhea Chakraborty was produced before the magistrate via video conferencing on Tuesday. NCB has now got 14-day judicial custody of the actress. Their remand copy states that Rhea is an active member of drug syndicate, she procured drugs for consumption and was involved in financial deals.

Sushant's cousin Niraj Kumar Singh Bablu, a politician from Bihar, took to his unverified Twitter account to share his feelings after Rhea's arrest on Tuesday afternoon. "Aakhirkar Rhea Chakraborty ki giraftari hui. Prabhu ke ghar der hai andher nahi. (Rhea Chakraborty has finally been arrested. In God's abode there is delay but no denial)," he tweeted.

His wife Nutan Singh, a politician, tweeted from her unverified account: "Satya pareshan ho sakta hai parajit nahi. Rhea ki giraftari se aj pura desh santusht hai. Sushantji ka parivar pura desh hai aur parivar ko aur khushi tab milegi jab sabhi doshiyon ko saja milegi. (Truth can be troubled but not defeated. Today the entire nation is satisfied with Rhea's arrest. The entire nation is Sushant's family and everyone will be happy once all the culprits are punished)."

Today, Rhea is being questioned in front of drug supplier Anuj Keshwani who was caught in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Drug peddlers Basit, Zaid and Kaizan Ibrahim used to take drugs from Anuj Keshwani and further gave them to Shouwik and Sanuel Miranda.

The NCB team is looking for another drug paddler Dwayne who delivered 50 grams of 'Hash' and 100 grams of 'Ganja' to Dipesh Sawant outside Mount Blanc, Sushant's house in May and June during the lockdown.

Calling her FIR unauthorized, the lawyer said that if Rhea wanted to claims these things, she would have said it through her statements to CBI and if CBI found merit in it, they could have included in the charge sheet.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti also reacted to the FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty and said, "Nothing’s gonna break us, definitely not this fake FIR!"

She also urged the fans to have peaceful car rallies to show their support for the late actor and put up billboards to join the family in their fight to seek justice. She tweeted, "Put up Billboards and flyers in front of your home, on your car. Split into groups and have peaceful car rallies and tag me. Let’s make it into People’s Movement! We will not stop till the justice is served!"

Hours after Rhea Chakraborty filed a fresh complaint against Sushant Singh's sister Priyanka Singh, a doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia and some others, alleging forgery, senior advocate Vikas Singh, who represents the late actor's family on Monday threatened that if the Mumbai Police takes this complaint forward, he would "initiate a request for contempt of court proceedings."

"Mumbai police shall not accept any such complaint as it would be a clear violation of the Supreme Court's order. The order clearly prohibits any other agency apart from CBI from registering any new complaint in this case," said Singh at a press conference. "This is a clear attempt to deflect the mind of the people and derail the probe. If the Bandra Police will take this complaint forward, we will initiate contempt proceedings," he added.
