Drug Angle in Sushant's death
A day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to look into the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the NCB registered a case on the basis of the ED communique on Wednesday. NCB chief Rakesh Asthana said, "We have filed a case on the basis of the letter from the ED." The case is registered under the NDPS Act and the agency will soon conduct an inquiry and question people concerned. The officer said that the ED probe into the financial aspects of the death case had allegedly found an angle of drug supply to Rhea Chakraborty. NCB will probe Rhea's relationship with the drug dealers. According to sources, NCB will investigate the call details of Rhea, Sushant and Shovik. The NCB team will interrogate the drug dealers recently caught in Mumbai and Pune.
Taking suo moto cognizance of actress Rhea Chakraborty's 'visit' to the morgue where the Sushant Singh Rajput's body was kept, the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has slapped a notice to the Mumbai Police and BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation demanding an explanation.
Treating the matter as a priority, the SHRC has ordered the police and civic authorities to submit their detailed explanation in the matter by Monday. WATCH: Case registered against Rhea, brother Shovik by NCB to probe drug angle in Sushant's death
After Rhea Chakraborty's WhatsApp chat with a drug dealer surfaced on the internet, a new angle is being investigated in the matter. Sushant's family lawyer had already questioned the autopsy report and had claimed that it is "pretty disturbing that the report says nothing was found in the stomach." On Tuesday, Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to check the drug syndicate connection.
However, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has denied all accusations and has stated that the actress is ready for a "blood test any time."

Former bureaucrat on link between Sushant and Disha's deaths
Former bureaucrat RVS Mani has alleged a much deeper connection in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, one that links Bollywood, the cricket world, Disha Salian, Bunty Sajdeh and Cornerstone Sport and Management company.
"There are many coloured dots in this case. It is very important. Nobody is talking about this. There is a much deeper political connection and a much deeper conspiracy," Mani told IANS.
"These things are getting deflected because Dubai controls the film industry, Dubai controls cricket. Most of them are connected with Cornerstone, most of the cricket stars are managed by Bunty Sajdeh's Cornerstone Sport and Management. Bunty Sajdeh's sister is married to Sohail Khan, another sister is married to Rohit Sharma," he added.
Mani continued: "There are many dots coming out. In the past, Arbaaz Khan was questioned for betting and match-fixing. There are many dots that need to be connected. The conspiracy runs deeper. The Dubai angle means ISI involvement, and among all these things, MS Dhoni announces his retirement and Aamir Khan went to Turkey."
"Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan have been ganging up against India over the last two years. So, there are many dots. I want NIA (National Investigation Agency) to get into it," he added.

A well known Mumbai criminal lawyer has contended in a video statement here on Wednesday that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is "all about money" with too many big players involved in it. Ashok Saraogi - who also represents one of the accused in the case - said despite all allegations being bandied around, the Sushant investigation is still incomplete.
First it was labeled as a 'suicide' and later a 'murder' and the names of people close to him cropped up along with allegations of actress Rhea Chakraborty's involvement, but it's not as simple as it appears, he said. On the allegations of financial misappropriation of Sushant Singh Rajput's wealth, Saraogi claimed that the CBI is in possession of a mobile phone that has full details of the monetary transactions.
"Many transactions took place from Dubai under the code name of 'chocolate', how many 'chocolates' came or were returned since Sushant had cancelled one programme there and had to return the fees," he said.

Case filed against Rhea Chakraborty, Jaya Saha, Gaurav Arya and Shruti Modi
A day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to look into the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the NCB registered a case on the basis of the ED communique on Wednesday.
The Enforcement Directorate wrote to the NCB on Tuesday evening after it got some leads related to alleged use of drugs in the chat records of Rhea and others. The ED on Wednesday summoned Jaya Saha, the talent manager of Rhea, for questioning after it came to the fore that the actor had shared a few messages related to drugs with her.
However, the ED remained tightlipped on the kind of drugs provided to Sushant and Rhea. Meanwhile, Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde on Tuesday night said in a statement: "Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She's ready for a blood test any time."

What kind of drugs were talked about in Rhea's deleted WhatsApp chats?
Hallucination, paranoia, depression and loss of mind control are some effects of the drugs mentioned in the alleged drug chat of actress Rhea Chakraborty, which adds a new twist to the death case of her late boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Importantly, these effects fit right into the narrative around his mental health, be it his reported hallucinatory episode in Europe or his alleged struggle with depression.
In the WhatsApp chats made public, Rhea allegedly talks of using MDMA and also discusses marijuana.
"In case we speak about hard drugs, I haven't been doing too much. Tried MDMA once," she allegedly messaged a man named Gaurav Arya, asking him: "You have MD?"
A message sent to her by one Jaya Saha on November 25 last year read: "Use 4 drops in coffee, tea or water and let him sip it. Give it 30-40 minutes for it to kick in." It is being presumed that the "him" refers to Sushant.
According to doctors, MDMA is a psychotropic drug.
"MDMA is classified as a stimulant. Without making a reference to Sushant Singh Rajput as we can't ascertain right now, whether he was taking it or not, I can tell you that the drug works by increasing metabolism and neurochemicals. It is a psychoactive substance, one can feel more energetic, excited, and also have hallucinatory experiences," doctor and director (Asia Pacific) at World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) Sunil Mittal told IANS.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has pointed a finger at the role of Mumbai Police and Bollywood in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
"For day 1 (July 9) I had said Sushant was murdered, that CBI inquiry should be instituted because Mumbai Police was complicit, and that Dubai is involved. I have been vindicated Now the Bollywood Cartel remains to be identified and made as 'accessory before the murder'," Swamy tweeted from his verified account on Wednesday.
Swamy's tweet comes a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing money laundering charges connected to the case, sought the help of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to check the drug syndicate connection.
