Sushant Death Case: Inconsistencies in cook Neeraj's statements, CBI to grill again | UPDATES

The CBI will carry out Sushant's psychological autopsy.in their CFSL lab. This will be the third time for CBI to conduct a psychological autopsy. in any murder/suicide case. Prior to Sushant's case, such autopsy was done in the case of  Burari family and Sunanda Pushkar's death.

CBI's forensic team will study Sushant's brain in the psychological autopsy. They will also go through each and every social media post shared by Sushant along with his diaries and WhatsApp conversations.

Furthermore, information about Sushant'sbehavior will be obtained from the actor's family and friends.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s former assistant Vibash said that he doesn’t believe the actor was in depression “I would have known if he was on any medication. I would have been told that such and such are the medicines to be given regularly to him. But this never happened and there were no medicines. He had a routine and he followed it. As far as depression is concerned, I saw a fit man, who used to play sports for four hours and he would go back to playing an hour later. He would read, write and motivate us,” he was quoted as saying to Times Now.

The CBI team, probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, on Monday again visited the Cooper Hospital, where his autopsy was done, to question the doctors concerned on various points even as it continued to quiz the actor's flatmate Siddharth Pithani and his cook Neeraj Singh on the events before the actor was found dead. The team also visited the Waterstone resort again, where the Bollywood star stayed for two months.

In its second visit to the Cooper Hospital in the last three days, the CBI's Special Investigation Team (SIT) met the doctors who conducted the post-mortem examination of Sushant, and asked them about the conditions in which the autopsy was carried and who all from the late actor's family were present in the hospital at that time, sources said.

The CBI team is present inside Kotak Mahindra Bank. Before that they also went to HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, the details of the account associated with Sushant Singh Rajput are being taken.

With the Special Investigation Team of the CBI going out all guns blazing against all possible angles in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, senior advocate Vikas Singh representing the late actor's family, slammed Rhea Chakraborty and claimed she "has never cooperated with Sushant's family and is playing double game".

"Rhea has not cooperated with the family, she didn't even offer condolences to the family when the mishap took place. Moreover, when the request for CBI probe was made, they opposed it tooth and nail. She may have put out a video in support of the CBI probe but her legal team opposed the same strongly," the senior advocate said.

The CBI SIT has reached the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai where the late actor's post-mortem was conducted. As per reports, the team will question the doctors who conducted the post-mortem.

As per a closed source, Mewati was quizzed about the following — 

1) How much of a say did Rhea Chakraborty have when it came to SSR's account? 

2) Did she have legitimate access to these accounts? 

3) In the last 6 months who was taking financial decisions?

4) Was Rhea acting on her own or had the permission of SSR? 

5) Post 8th June, did she still continue to interfere with SSR's financial decisions..?

Rajat Mewati, who maintained Sushant's account, also reached DRDO guest house.

Resort manager is being questioned. Did Sushant take the club membership of the resort? When did Sushant come to this resort with Rhea? Which room was booked by him? What was the rent of that room? How many times did Mohan Joshi come to see Sushant in this resort? Who else used to come to this resort to see Sushant--pandit, priest, tantric? Who used to call these priests and spiritual healers? Did the resort know about this? How was Sushant's behavior in the resort? Have they ever had a fight with any staff? Was there an abnormal behavior? Did Sushant ever look mentally ill? These are certain questions that will be pondered upon.

A team of CBI has reached the Water Stone Resort located in the Marol Naka area of ​​Mumbai where they have to collect information related to Sushant Singh Rajput. Water Stone Resort is the same place where the spiritual healing of Sushant Singh Rajput was done in the last months of 2019. The actor's spiritual healing was done by Spiritual Healer named Mohan Joshi. The actor used to come to this water stone resort every day after finishing his shooting, according to the information, he is also a member here. In the last months of 2019, he stayed here for a few days, the CBI wants to get information related to this.

Sushant Singh Rajput's cook Neeraj reached the DRDO guesthouse for questioning for the fourth consecutive day. His statements are contradicting with Siddharth Pithani's statements even though both are the eye-witness of the crime.

Dipesh is also asked to appear before CBI today for interrogation. 

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team continues the questioning of Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani on the third consecutive day. The team found some "inconsistencies" in the statements.

According to CBI sources, the investigating team has issued summons to Rhea Chakraborty and some of her relatives including father Indrajit Chakraborty and brother Showik for questioning. Inquiries may be held soon.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also probing a money laundering angle in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Earlier, the financial probe agency had recorded the statement of Sushant's father, sister Meetu Singh, besides Rhea, Showik, Indrajit, Miranda, Shruti Modi, Pithani, Rumi Jaffery and several others.

Today, a CBI team will visit the ED office and will gather information about the statements in the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput's accountant Rajat Mewati was interrogated by the CBI on Sunday. He will be questioned today as well regarding the late actor's activities on June 13 and 14.

A team of CBI has reached the Waterstone resort today as well. They had visited the resort yesterday but did not get permission to investigate. The resort is the place where Sushant Singh Rajput had spent two months for his spiritual healing after his return from Europe tour. CBI is trying to determine how Sushant was behaving when he was staying there.

Sushant Singh Rajput's accountant Rajat Mewati has already been grilled by the ED team in the money laundering case filed by the late actor’s father KK Singh. Earlier, a statement was released by Rajat in which he alleged ‘black magic’ done by Rhea Chakraborty.

After flatmate Siddharth Pithani and the domestic staff, CBI might interrogate Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and others who have been accused in the actor's death.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Pavitra Rishta co-star Deepak Qazir Kejriwal claimed that the late actor never mentioned Sandip Ssingh, who claims to be Sushant's very close friend. Deepak reveals that they used to have gatherings at Mahesh Shetty or Manav Vij's house but Sushant never talked about any friend named Sandip Ssingh.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team continued the questioning of Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani and personal staff Neeraj Singh and Dipesh Sawant as it found some "inconsistencies" in their statements, as per agency sources.

The sources also said that Pithani, Neeraj and Sawant, who were also questioned earlier in the day after the agency had found some stark differences and inconsistencies in their statements, were, around 2.30 p.m., taken to the Bandra flat to be questioned separately on the chain of events on June 13 and 14.

Mumbai Police personnel, who had visited Sushant's flat on June 14 when the actor was found dead, were also present with the CBI and the forensic team.
