Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: ED questions actor's personal staff in money laundering probe | UPDATES

According to top ED officials, the agency recorded the statements of Pankaj Dubey, Rajat Mewati and Dipesh Sawant under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. The official said that Sawant was the servant at Sushant's residence and he was among the five people who saw the body of the late actor at his Bandra flat on June 14.

Mewati, who was the accountant of Sushant, was asked about the finances and accounts of the late actor. The ED also questioned him why he left the job and who used to give him instructions for payments and whether the actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty also gave him instructions.

Sushant's bodyguard during an interview with Times Now revealed that he is shocked by his death. According to him, Sushant was full of life. He also added that he still cannot believe that a person like him can kill himself. His bodyguard also revealed that the actor always kept himself busy.

EMI of a flat where Sushant Singh Rajput's friend and actor Ankita Lokhande used to stay, was deducted from Sushant's bank account. This flat is registered in Sushant's name: ED (Enforcement Directorate) Officer

The late actor's brother-in-law Vishal Kirti, in a new blog post, has revisited the fateful night when he received the news of the tragic demise. Vishal also recalled how breaking the news to his wife Shweta Singh Kirti was one of the toughest things he has had to do in life.

According to CBI sources, in the coming time, CBI will also conduct a dummy test in Sushant's room in Mumbai which will be part of the recreation, to understand the dimensions of the dummy weight spot. The CBI will first understand the postmortem report and viscera report through experts to understand the cause of death. It will also check whether Viscera has any extra sample or not. For this, CBI can also send the samples to another lab if necessary.

Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena leader, says, "Sushant Singh Rajput was our son. He lived in Mumbai, he was an actor. Bollywood is Mumbai's family. What enmity will we have? Even we want his family to get justice. We want the secret behind his death to come out." 

He further said, "We have full sympathy for Sushant Singh Rajput's family. Yesterday I just said that they should've some patience but it was shown that I've threatened them. Was that a threat? Trust Mumbai Police. If you think they're not doing a good job, then go to CBI."
