Sushant Death Case: Jaya Shah, Shruti Modi to join NCB investigation tomorrow| UPDATES
Continuing the drug probe in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) interrogating the late actor's talent manager Jaya Saha today. After the interrogation, the agency will issue fresh summons, most probably to Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simmone Khambatta.
Continuing the drug probe in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is interrogating the late actor's former business manager Shruti Modi and his talent manager Jaya Saha today. According to sources, actress Shraddha Kapoor's name along with two other film personalities have surfaced in the chats retrieved from Jaya Saha.
NCB will summon ctresses Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor for questioning. NCB source related to the probe said, "This week, we will be sending summons to Sara, Shraddha and several others for questioning." The NCB will also summon actor Rakul Preet Singh and fashion designer Simone Kambhatta. The agency will ask them to join the probe next week. Sara starred with Sushant in "Kedarnath" while Shraddha shared the screen with the late actor in the film Chichhore. An NCB source said that the drug law enforcement agency got the lead on these actors after it was found that they went on an island near Pune multiple times for parties. The NCB has arrested Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant's personal staff Dipesh Sawant and several others in the case for allegedly procuring and transporting drugs.
It had registered a case on a request from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after it found several WhatsApp chats between several people ostensibly for procuring drugs.
During Rhea Chakraborty's interrogation, Jaya Saha's name had surfaced. Also, the actress's WhatsApp chats with Saha talking about drugs and giving CDA or MDMA drugs to Sushant had gone viral on the internet. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had grilled the two regarding the money laundering angle and suicide abetment as alleged by the late actor's family. NCB will also summon actresses Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simmone Khambatta this week.

The Central anti-drugs agency NCB, so far, has arrested more than a dozen person including Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty, in the case. As part of its investigation, the NCB had conducted raids at multiple locations in Mumbai and Goa to unearth the drug cartel. The NCB is also investigating the viral video from filmmaker Karan Johar's party which is being claimed to be proof that more people from Bollywood are a part of the drug syndicate.

Now Deepika Padukone's name emerges in drug case
A few drug chats that came under NCB's scrutiny had mentions of individuals with initials 'D' and 'K'. While D has allegedly been identified as Deepika Padukone, 'K' is Karishma who is a KWAN Talent Management Agency employee. It is expected that Karishma, who manages Deepika, will be questioned tomorrow by the agency.

The Bombay High Court on Monday directed the Narcotics Control Bureau to file its reply to a bail plea filed by Zaid Vilatra, one of those arrested by the central agency in a drugs case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
A single bench presided over by Justice Revati Mohite-Dere accepted the NCB counsel Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh's request for a week to file the reply and directed the agency to file it by September 30.
Vilatra (20), a resident of Bandra area in the metropolis, was arrested by NCB in connection with the ongoing probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Vilatra moved the Bombay High Court on September 12 seeking bail after it was rejected by the sessions court on September 9.

Shraddha Kapoor, Rakulpreet Singh, Simmone, Sara Ali Khan will all be summoned this week. Shraddha's name surfaced in the statement of Dipesh Swant and Jagdish Boat Wala. Her direct role is not identified yet in drugs connection but she will be summoned for questioning. Simmone, Rakul, Sara Ali have a direct connection, they will also be summoned.

CBI, AIIMS medical board to meet on Tuesday
The AIIMS medical board will hold a meeting with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, on Tuesday to discuss the findings of the probe done by the agency and the CFSL teams that went to Mumbai, and then decide on the next course of action, sources said on Monday. According to CBI sources, the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) forensic team will meet the agency's Special Investigation Team (SIT) team members at its headquarters in south Delhi's Lodhi road area.
The source said that after studying the report of the CFSL and the CBI's SIT, the AIIMS medical board will share its final conclusion on whether there was any foul play in the death of the late actor. The source said that the agency will also share its findings with the AIIMS forensic team and then decide on the next course of action.

AIIMS forensic team to submit final report to CBI
The AIIMS forensic team is all set to submit its final report on Sushant Singh Rajput soon. It was said that the report hints at foul play and the viscera of the late actor was not preserved properly. The forensic team held a meeting with CBI officials on Sunday and it is said that they talking about their final opinion in the case. It is expected that the reports will be out by September 22.

NCB summons Shruti Modi, Jaya Saha for interrogation
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), probing drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, has asked the actor's former manager Shruti Modi and his talent manager Jaya Saha to appear before it today, an official said on Sunday. Shruti Modi's questioning was postponed on September 16 after a member of the NCB's Special Investigation Team (SIT) team had tested positive for coronavirus.
Shruti Modi, who had reached the NCB office in south Mumbai on Wednesday morning, was then sent back, an official had said. The NCB had on September 15 asked Saha to join its investigation.
