With three agencies, CBI, NCB and ED, investigating the mystery shrouding the death of the Bollywood actor, new information has come to the surface with AIIMS forensic team working on the viscera report. The forensic experts have hinted at certain discrepancies relating to the inquest report and description of the crime scene filed by the police. They will submit their final report next week.

On the other hand, a COVID19 positive case among the Narcotics Control Bureau's SIT had slowed the interrogation but it will resume in full force from Monday. During the interrogation, Rhea Chakraborty had named Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh in drugs probe. On Thursday, Rakul filed a petition in High Court against media trial. "The Petitioner categorically states that she does not take drugs at all, and has, to the best of her recollection, has only met Sara Ali Khan twice (once at IIFA Awards and once while working out in a gym) and has not met Simone Khambatta at all," the petition said.

Disha Salian did not dial 100 before her death: Mumbai Police
Dispelling rumours that the last call from Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Disha Salian's phone was to the police emergency service, the Mumbai Police on Friday said that her last phone call was to a friend. "The last call from Disha Salian's phone was made to her friend Ankita. The claim that she tried to dial 100 the last time, is false," a Mumbai Police official said. The clarification came after several rumours doing rounds on the internet that she dialed 100 before her alleged suicide. Disha Salian had died on June 8, following which Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on June 14. Mnay claim that the two deaths are connected and they have not died by suicide but were murdered.

NCB begins search on Bollywood's viral video
According to the NCB sources, the agency has begun investigation of a viral video of Bollywood celebrities. NCB Mumbai unit started the investigation. It will examine the veracity of this video first. The NCB will investigate whether this video is real or whether it has been doctored. The further proceedings will be initiated if the video is found genuine in the investigation.
Recently Manjinder Singh Sirsa filed a complaint to the DG of NCB regarding this video. In his complaint, he said that drugs were consumed during the mentioned Bollywood party. According to the complaint, this video is of the year 2018. The video was shared by filmmaker Karan Johar shot during his house party. Big names from the industry like Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Shakun Batra, Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and others were present at the party.

Bollywood actor Rakul Preet Singh files petition in High Court after name in drugs probe
The Delhi High Court on Thursday expressed hope that the media will exercise restraint as the bench asked the Centre, National Broadcasters Association among others to respond to a petition filed by Bollywood actor Rakul Preet Singh. Rakul Preet has highlighted media reports against her after Sushant Singh Rajput's death case accused Rhea Chakraborty named the former in a drug related case before the NCB.
While passing these directions, the single judge bench said: "There has to be some restraint. Media gets to know info even before the officers themselves. Reputations are getting tarnished."

NCB to resume Bollywood round up from Monday
Sources close to developments in the major drug expose in B Town are close to calling key producers, directors, actors, actresses and other film personalities for questioning next week onwards. The Sushant Singh Rajput suicide, now mired in various layers of controversy, is seeing major activity on the drug front.
The sustained interrogation of siblings Rhea and Showik Chakraborty has revealed that around 20 such people were involved in the consumption and use of these drugs. A thorough re-examination of the scene of crime which includes the bedroom and duplex flat of Sushant where the star allegedly committed suicide, and autopsy files were conducted by the forensic experts of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to ascertain the cause of death of the young Bollywood actor.
