Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case LIVE: Rhea Chakraborty to stay in jail, bail plea rejected in drugs case

Sushant Singh Rajput was developing a mobile app based on artificial intelligence, and Denmark-based singer-entrepreneur Arian Romal has shared information with us on the matter. Romal told IANS that Sushant planned to use artificial intelligence, or AI, to help the poor in India.

"The last time I met Sushant, it was a year ago at a party in Mumbai around March or April. At that time, we had a conversation around technology. He spoke of developing a mobile application. By 2020, there must be something he had built. Where is it? He was build something using AI that would help the poor in India. He spoke about it but didn't reveal much to me because it was his idea and it might get stolen. But he spoke to me about the concept. His aim was to help the poor with his app," Romal said.

"There are some people that make an impression on you. He was one of those guys. I have been into building apps, so I found the conversation quite interesting. It is amazing for an actor to have so much knowledge and curiosity about AI and what kind of technology is required for it, because that is not the world they live in. This guy was different. He knew the right words and asked the right questions," the singer-entrepreneur recalled.

Romal has been traveling to India for work over the past few years, and has composed and produced a few Hindi songs, too. The singer-entrepreneur feels, from whatever he has seen of Sushant, the late actor could not have been a drug addict. He adds that there is some mystery about his death that is yet to be solved.

"I feel uncomfortable reading about Sushant these days. It seems to be a war between two groups. This poor guy who is no more is being targeted. It is very sad that a person who is no more has to go through all this, because some people want to save themselves," he shared.

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, says they are on a mission to find the truth behind the death of the Bollywood star, and will keep pursuing it. Sushant's sister Shweta expressed her views when she extended her support to actress Ankita Lokhande as she penned a response to actress Shibani Dandekar after she called her a "princess of patriarchy", and claimed that she is seeking fame by targeting actress and Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

"Don't even bother to clarify my dear. We are here for a cause and that is to know the whole truth, and we will keep pursuing that regardless! #WarriorsRoar4SSR," Shweta wrote while responding to Ankita's post.

Shweta also initiated several hashtags for initiatives in the name of her brother.

"#FeedFood4SSR Let's make this happen," she wrote with one post on Instagram, urging people to donate food for the needy people and animals.

 A Mumbai Special NDPS Court on Friday rejected the bail applications of actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and four others accused in the drugs case filed by Narcotics Control Bureau, advocate Satish Maneshinde said. All the six accused - including Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Swant, Abdul Basit and Zaid Vilatra - are likely to move the Bombay High Court for bail, he added shortly after the ruling.

"Once we get a copy of the NDPS Special Court Order, we will decide next week on the course of action about approaching the Bombay High Court," Maneshinde told media persons.

Samuel Haopkin used to stay with Sushant Singh Rajput till June 2019. He revealed that the actor wasn't into drugs and used to live his life to the fullest.

Continuing the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, CBI has summoned the late actor's accountant Rajat Mewati today for interrogation. The CBI team will return to Delhi next week. 

Bail pleas of Showik Chakraborty, Rhea Chakraborty, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant & Samuel Miranda have been rejected by a special court in Mumbai.

A meeting has been organized today in Delhi on Bollywood Drugs Connection which will include many senior NCB officials. After this meeting, preparations will start to send the summons to the film stars, whose names have been under confidential information of the NCB in the Bollywood Drugs Connection.mAfter today's meeting, many Bollywood celebrities may face difficulties.

Deputy Director KPS Malhotra who is investigating the drugs case in connection to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case reached Delhi late at night. Documents related to the investigation will be given to DG of NCB

Earlier, the NCB team probing the case of Sushant's death had come to know about the drugs syndicate of Bollywood through Rhea and Showik's laptop, phone and tablet. The names of many big personalities have come up. The strategy will be decided at the meeting.

After Rhea Chakraborty's close friend Shibani Dandekar called out Ankita Lokhande for her open letter on the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigation, many from the TV industry came out in support of the Pavitra Rishta actress. Shibani claimed that Ankita has been capitalising on Rhea's arrest and has the most hatred in her heart. She also called her support for Sushant's family as "two seconds of fame." Reacting to it, Ankita asked Shibani not to look down on TV actors.

The Mumbai Sessions Court on Thursday reserved till Friday its order on the bail application moved by Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is currently under judicial custody in a city jail. A Mumbai Magistrate had sent Rhea to judicial custody for 14 days till September 22 late on September 8 in connection with a case filed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) pertaining to its probe into the drugs angle surrounding the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

After spending the night in the NCB lockup, Rhea, 28, was later taken to the Byculla Jail even as her lawyer Satish Maneshinde filed a bail plea on her behalf in the Sessions Court on Wednesday.
