California State Assembly honors Sushant Singh Rajput's contribution to cinema, society | UPDATES

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Sunday tweeted terming the death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput murder. Swami took to his verified Twitter to take a dig at Bollywood, Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra government when he made the comment.

"Sushant Singh Rajput's murder is Waterloo and Watergate for Bollywood, Mumbai Police and Maharashtra government. Fasten your seat belts as we are about to take off and bombard and won't give up till either guilty are brought to justice or justice is brought to the guilty," Swamy tweeted.

On Friday, the veteran politician had tweeted questioning the absence of the late actor's servant Samuel and the arrival of two ambulances after Sushant's death.

"Why were two ambulance? Who called them? If I don't get truthful answers we may get a clue why SSR loyal servant Samuel is missing. Is he alive or dead? Was one ambulance intended for him?" he had tweeted.

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh says he met Sushant Singh Rajput twice in his life and that he cannot digest the idea that the late actor committed suicide. A user on social media urged Diljit to raise his voice in the Sushant case. He also used hashtags such as #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput and #GlobalPrayer4SSR

Diljit replied to the user: "Bhai Shushant Bhai Ko Mai Do Baar Mila Thaa Life Mai.. Suicide wali Baat Digest Toh Nahi Hoti.. JAANDAAR Banda Thaa Yaar.. Baki I Know Police Apna Kaam Kar Rahi aa .. Humeh Wait karna Chaiye.. I Hope Sach Sab Ke Saamney Aeyga (I have met Sushant twice in my life. Cannot digest that he committed suicide. He was a guy full of life. Rest I know, the police are doing their job. We should wait. I hope the truth comes out)."

Sharing the throwback video, Shweta wrote an emotional note that read, "We had joy, we had fun! We had seasons in the sun But the smile and the song

Video of the late actor having fun with his sisters goes viral. After the actor's film MS Dhoni: An Untold Story became hit, Sushant had a meeting with all the four sisters. In the video, all of them can be seen in the same frame as the actor records the same. All five of them can be seen happy and in peace, lying down and having fun with each other. The 58 seconds video shows a clear picture of how there was an unbreakable bond between the siblings.

In an interview with Times Now, Anupam Kher recalled working with the late actor in MS Dhoni biopic and said, "I used to let him be himself, because it was a very difficult role for him. I remember I went for a walk late at night, and he was constantly talking about what he wanted to do. He used to ask me how I started working abroad, in films like Bend it Like Beckham, and how I dealt with the difficulty of speaking in English. I still remember that night. He kept asking me the difference between working in Hollywood and Bollywood."

Alongside a throwback photo, he wrote, "My friend U will Always be in our prayers..."

Rabia Khan, the mother of late Bollywood actor Jiah Khan, has said that she believes that her daughter, Sushant Singh Rajput, and his ex-manager Disha Salian fell victim to serial killing and asserted that people from Bollywood and politics were involved in the two deaths in June that she as dubbed murders. In an exclusive telephonic interview to IANS from London, Rabia said: "I have the feeling that whosoever killed Jiah has also used Rhea (Chakraborty) to kill Sushant."

"The person who killed Jiah has killed Sushant. My child's boyfriend used her for her money. He controlled Jiah. Rhea was also doing the same. From where did she get this much money? If it came from Sushant, we know that (it is possible) since he was doing films, endorsements, and advertisements. If not, from where did all the money come from? Was she into drug trafficking? Was she into narcotics? Was she friends with drug peddlers?" asked Rabia, who was married to Indian-origin US businessman Ali Rizhvi Khan.

"The post mortem report that I have seen doesn’t mention the time of death which is a crucial detail. Whether he was hanged after being killed or he died by hanging can be cleared with the time of death. Mumbai Police and Cooper Hospital will have to answer these questions. CBI inquiry is needed in this matter to know the truth," Vikas Singh was quoted as saying by ANI.

Musician Sajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid duo opened up and shared an emotional message for Sushant's sisters. The composer, in an interview with Zoom Digital, said, "I can feel his father's pain, his sisters' pain, and what they must be going through. My prayers are with them and I hope ki unke dil ko sukoon mile aur sab unke saamne aaye. I want to tell all the sisters that one more brother of yours is in me. Don't feel alone. We are there for them."

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), involved in the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, has interrogated his former manager Rajat Mewati, former bodyguard Ajay Dubey and domestic staff Dipesh Sawant for more than 10 hours on Friday.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti urged fans to join the prayer meet by sharing photos with folded hands. "Please post a pic of yours with folded hands and join the campaign #GlobalPrayers4SSR today," she said.
