Sushant Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty accepts she 'used to keep drugs in staff room' | UPDATES

NCB has summoned Shruti Modi and Jaya Shah for questioning at 10: 30 am on Wednesday.

The Human Rights Commission can give its verdict on September 16 in the case of Rhea Chakraborty visiting Cooper Hospital's mortuary on June 15 to see Sushant's body. The case has been heard  three times so far, in which both the Cooper Hospital and the Mumbai Police have denied that they saw Rhea and the four people accompanying her to Cooper Hospital's mortuary

As the probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues, actor Shekhar Suman says that investigating agencies may or may not come up with any conclusion, but Sushant will be deeply etched in the collective consciousness of people forever. Taking to his Twitter account on Tuesday, Shekhar wrote: "All the news channels and all the investigating agencies are doing their job. They may or may not come up with any conclusion. But SSR is deeply etched in the collective consciousness of ppl forever and that is the only truth. #WeStayUnited4SSR."

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a throwback video of the late Bollywood actor on Tuesday, Shweta took to Instagram, where she posted a video of Sushant along with actor Rajkummar Rao. The late actor is seen laughing childishly smiling while Rajkummar talks into a mic. "What A Heartwarming Smile," Shweta wrote alongside the image.

Mallika Singh, niece of Sushant Singh Rajput, has shared a picture of the late actor in her new post on Instagram Stories, to exhort his fans to stay united. In the picture, Sushant is seen with his sister Shweta Singh Kirti in the backseat of a car.

"#WeStayUnited4SSR," wrote Mallika.

After 3 hours of questioning at the DRDO guesthouse, the HDFC employees came out. They have reached the DRDO guest house with certain documents. Meanwhile, Rajat Mewati is still inside and the interrogation has been going on for 3 hours.

NCB seizes drug peddler Karamjeet's luxury car.

During the interrogation, NCB asked actress Rhea Chakraborty about Sushant Singh Rajput's staff, her connection with them, about brother Showik Chakraborty and his personal life. The actress was asked more than 55 questions about the drugs. 

Rhea Chakraborty has been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and sent to 14-day judicial custody after her bail plea was rejected by the court. Meanwhile, two old and unseen videos of Sushant Singh Rajput have gone viral on the internet that have been recorded by Rhea herself.

Here's why Rhea Chakraborty's bail plea was rejected by Sessions Court

Sushant and Rhea were in a live-in relationship. The actress used to arrange drugs through her brother Showik. NCB has WhatsApp chats and electronic pieces of evidence, credit card details used to pay for the narcotic substances. The investigation is on the initial stage and in such a case, there is no ground for bail.

Drug peddler Chris Costa who was arrested in Goa earlier has been brought to Mumbai. He will be produced in court today through video conference.

According to Rhea Chakraborty's statement during NCB interrogation, before shifting to Mont Blanc, Sushant Singh Rajput was staying at Capri Height. For the communication between the various housemates and staff they had made a WhatsApp group. There had been instances in which it is clearly evident that doobs of contrabands were made and kept at the room of the staff. Whenever needed the same were delivered to Rhea and SSR. 

The ongoing investigation at NCB/CBI/ED had uncovered the same and Rhea has accepted the same during her voluntary statement.

Sushant's accountant Rajat Mewati again reached the DRDO guest house today for CBI inquiry. Yesterday, he was questioned for about 9 hours.

Suryadeep Malhotra has been arrested this morning. After some time, he will be taken for medical test and will appear in the court in the afternoon through video conferencing.

According to the NCB, Suryadeep is Shouwik's friend and had become close to Sushant and Rhea in a short span. Suryadeep was instrumental in purchasing and supplying drugs.

Rhea Chakraborty and her legal team likely to move high court today for the bail plea of the actress and her brother Showik Chakraborty. Rhea was arrested on September 8 and sent to judicial custody in drugs probe in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput death.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a heart-touching video of the late actor on Instagram and says, "What A Heartwarming Smile." The video shows clips of Sushant laughing and enjoying his moments as the song "Kau Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega" plays in the background.

She also shared a tweet questioning the reason for his death. She wrote, " No matter where we live... our hearts bleed to find the truth. Worldwide there is only one screaming question everyone has “What happened to our Sushant, what conspired that led to death of our bright Star?” This is Global movement for justice!  #Flag4SSR"

After Rhea Chakraborty named actress Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Simone Khambatta during NCB interrogation, unseen videos of the Kedarnath actress and Rhea smoking with Sushant Singh Rajput have gone viral. Even the Narcotics Control Bureau has confirmed that Rhea has named these three names in her statement. However, no summons have been issued to these people as of now.
