Sushant Death Probe UPDATES: Actor's family lawyer issues statement after Rhea Chakraborty's complaint

Rhea Chakraborty was grilled for 8 hours on Monday by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials and allowed to leave in the evening for the second day, belying speculation that she would be arrested. She was interrogated in two stages. At first, Rhea was questioned alone and all questions were related to drugs. In the second phase of interrogation, Rhea was asked the same questions in front of the three accused Showik, Dipesh, and Samuel.

She is expected to return for the third round of quizzing on Tuesday as the NCB officials continue their painstaking investigations to unravel the drugs angle in the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Naagin 3 actor Zuber K. Khan is all set to start shooting for Nyaay: The Justice, a film reportedly inspired by the life of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Incidentally, a co-producer of the film is Sarla A. Saraogi, whose husband Ashok M. Saraogi represents Sushant's ex-manager Shruti Modi in the ongoing investigations into the actor's death.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput had been taking medicines for panic disorder and seizures since October 2019, though several senior doctors maintain that it will be "wrong" to say that these medicines were being prescribed for "depression" without knowing the case history of the patient and the probable disorders the late actor was facing.

Rhea Chakraborty's complaint states that Priyanka had sent Sushant a prescription by Dr Tarun Kumar and he "appears to have prescribed medication controlled under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 to Sushant without any consultation as mandated by law."

Rhea Chakraborty's complaint further states that the "drugs prescribed by the doctor (Dr Tarun Kumar) were prohibited from being prescribed electronically under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020."

NCB will reportedly examine Showik and Rhea's call data records and their connection with Anuj Keshwani.

Rhea Chakraborty has filed a Police Complaint before the Mumbai Police against Priyanka Singh , Dr Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Others for offences of Forgery , NDPS Act and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020 for having sent a bogus Medical Prescription depicting SSR as an Out Patient Department person when he was in Mumbai on 8th June 2020 prescribing Schedule Drugs which are listed in Schedule of NDPS Act listed at items 36 and 37 as  Psychotropic Substances  and Tele Medicines Practice Guidelines 3.7.4 dealing with Prohibited List , which prohibits prescribing of any Narcotic or Psychotropic Substance listed in the NDPS Act. It is a misconduct under 3.7.1.4 of the Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines.

AIIMS Forensic Board is conducting viscera test in SSR case to check for poisoning. Result to come within ten days:(Prof) Dr Sudhir Gupta, Head of Forensic Dept at AIIMS & Chairman of Medical board formed in #SushantSinghRajputDeathCase

A 6-member AIIMS forensic experts to investigate further the viscera report of Sushant Singh Rajput. The team will fly to Delhi and take the investigation forward.

The AIIMS team questioned the doctors who handled the post mortem of Sushant and asked them why they refused to accept the theory that the actor has been strangled. They have also questioned them about the missing time of death and missing out on many other details.

Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty was grilled for grueling six-hours on Sunday when she first appeared before the NCB for questioning. She has been summoned again for Monday as the NCB continues its investigations to unravel the drugs angle that has emerged in the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea, who did not appear to be flustered as she stepped out, underwent interrogation by several teams of NCB sleuths during the day before they finally permitted her to go home after 6 p.m. in her own vehicle.

Shweta Singh Kirti also shared posters and Billboards in Budapest where people have been demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput as well and shared her gratitude for their support.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a picture from their childhood and said that the family only wants to know what happened with the actor. She stressed that the family wants the truth and calls it 'satya ka agrah.' She tweeted, "We promised each other that we will protect each other forever. But,I failed Bhai...I failed! But here is another promise I and the whole country make to you, we will find the truth, we will get you justice!I knew my brother, the kind of person he was, full of life and joy."

In another tweet, she wrote, "He was like a child, the only thing he wanted was love. Koi ek baar, pyaar se haath pher de uske sar pe, pyaar se baat karle, bas that was enough for him to make him happy. He was not a person who would take his own life. My heart is not ready to believe it."

She added, "Let’s keep our intentions clear, we want to know what is the cause of Sushant’s death, nothing less will suffice! It is Satya ka Agrah."
