Rhea's CA Ritesh Shah to be questioned tomorrow, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister lauds global support | UPDATES

 Amid all the controversy swirling around the June 14 death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his family's lawyer Vikas Singh said on Monday that there are very, very high chances that it was a murder.

Singh, a former Additional Solicitor General, said that after the death of the 34-year-old actor, his flatmate Sidharth Pithani remained in constant touch with the bereaved family till the time an FIR was filed.

"But after a case was registered (in Patna), he started helping Sushant's ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty," the lawyer said.

"Till the time we filed the FIR, Pithani was in contact with the family and gave an impression that it was a suicide and that Sushant was under depression. The bereaved family was believing the same. But once the FIR was registered (by Sushant's father KK Singh), he was helping Rhea by sharing that email. It was at that point that the family felt it could be a murder. Now, from what he has done and questions that have appeared, the chances are very, very high that it could be a murder," Singh told IANS.

Rhea Chakraborty CA Ritesh Shah didn't come to the ED office today. He is likely to come tomorrow to record his statements, according to ED officials,.Furthermore, they said that few more people will be called this week apart from Ritesh Shah in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Actor Karan Veer Mehra, who worked with late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in Pavitra Rishta, has shared old pictures featuring the trio. Karan Veer shared the snapshots on Instagram. The pictures were clicked in different places including the sets. In one picture, Sushant, Ankita and Karan Veer can be seen lying on the floor. Another image shows the trio smiling at the camera.

A third image has Sushant holding a little girl and giving a kiss on her cheek. Ankita and Karan Veer are also in the frame. There should be a CBI inquiry in Sushant's case, said Zareena Wahab. A lot of innocent people are getting trapped in this issue. Despite the fact that Sooraj is not connected with the case, his name is still being dragged into the same.

According to CBI sources, CBI is writing a letter to the Mumbai Police to take Sushant's mobile phone in their possession. CBI wants to investigate Sushant's mobile details including WhatsApp messages. CBI also wants to investigate if there was any kind of financial account on his mobile. The mobile phone can prove to be important evidence and link in the case.

On June 14, after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the actor was taken to Cooper Hospital which was 30 minutes away from his Bandra residence rather than Bhabha Hospital which was 7 minutes away. Questions are being raised about why the actor was taken to the faraway hospital? Also, why were there two dead bodies and two ambulances?

A video doing rounds on the internet shows a 'mystery woman' who was spotted at Sushant Singh Rajput's residence on the day of his death on June 14. The girl is identified as Jamila, Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik's close friend Jameela.
