Salman Khan mourns Wajid Khan's death: Will always love, respect, remember and miss you
Salman Khan condoled the death of music composer Wajid Khan who was his close friend and paid tribute to him on Twitter. The 42-year-old singer-music composer passed away at Surana Hospital in Chembur due to a heart attack. He was buried at the Versova cemetery ground.
Wajid Khan buried at Versova Burial Ground, Mumbai: Salman Khan's close friend Wajid Khan passed away in the wee hours of Monday morning at 42 due to a heart attack. Salman Khan shared a close bond with the music composer who started his career with Salman Khan film 'Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’, Wajid went on to give blockbuster hits in the industry with one foot tapping number to another. His hits include Salman KHan’s films like ‘Garv’, ‘Tere Naam’, ‘Tumko Na Bhool Payenge’, ‘Partner’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ and his superhit ‘Dabangg’ franchise.
This was yet another tragic day for Bollywood. Wajid left his fans and friends in the industry in shock and grief. He was admitted to Surana Hospital in Chembur following serious kidney ailment that was persisting over the past few years. He was also found COVID-19 positive. As soon as the shocking news of his death came, many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to express grief.
Salman Khan paid tribute to him on Twitter. Salman wrote, "Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace ..."

Earlier, his production house 'Salman Khan Films' shared a tribute for Wajid as a post on the official Instagram account that read, "Verified
An immensely talented music composer gone too soon. Prayers and strength for the entire family! #RIPWajidKhan."
Wajid had also done playback for Salman in chartbusters like 'Mera He Jalwa,' 'Fevicol Se.' The brother-composer duo also scored the title tracks for the reality TV show 'Bigg Boss' seasons 4 and 6, hosted by Salman.

Wajid's last composition was the superstar's lockdown song 'Pyaar Karona' and Eid song 'Bhai Bhai' which the actor released on his YouTube channel.
Wajid Khan was buried peacefully at the Versova cemetery ground.
