Salman Khan deposits money into accounts of Radhe crew amid coronavirus lockdown
Money has been deposited into the accounts of all workers who were supposed to be part of the unit between March 26 and April 2.
The shooting of superstar Salman Khan's next Radhe: Your most Wanted Bhai has stopped due to the current lockdown given the coronavirus pandemic. However, in a bid to ease things for crew members, the actor has deposited money into the accounts of the Radhe's crew members, who were scheduled to work between March 26 to April 2. Confirming the news, makeup artist Subhash Kapoor told news portal Spotboye: "What a great thing to do. I thank Salman sir from the bottom of my heart. Times are so tough."
Salman Khan has also pledged to financially help 25,000 daily wage artistes of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), since their livelihood has been severely affected due to the coronavirus lockdown. The federation’s president, B.N Tiwari, revealed, "After we approached Salman Khan, he asked us to give him a count of the most affected workers from our association. We told him there were 25,000 such artistes. He decided to contribute for them. We will be sending him the list."
Meanwhile, several other celebs have also made contributions to fight Covid - 19 including Akshay Kumar, Virat Kohli - Anushka Sharma, Saif Ali Khan- Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas - Nick Jonas, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan and Shilpa Shetty Kundra among several others.
Radhe which is being helmed by Prabhu Deva will also star Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Tne film is slated to release in Eid this year.
