If you see this film and come out, it will leave you with a strong impression. It still bothers me to watch my own film, so no celebrations. We wish to reflect. And we are going to carry this notion forward. We will take Pink wherever feasible so that it can reach the widest audience."
Shoojit Sircar has always been clear about the film's objective and target demographic. Reflecting on its objective, he noted in an earlier interview when the picture was released, "Pink is not a women's empowerment film; it is a basic story about three ladies. This film is not for ladies, who go through such things every day; it is for guys and boys."
