Amongst the multitudes of people who celebrated Karwa Chauth on October 17 was Bengali actress-turned-politician Nusrat Jahan. It was her first -- for husband Nikhil Jain. The couple tied the knot on June 19 this year.
Nusrat shared various pictures on her social media. She is seen in a pink salwar suit with red bandini dupatta. And we must say, she looks stunning in each picture.
Nikhil, on the other hand, is seen wearing a blue kurta and pyjama. Looks like the two fasted for each other as they are seen making each other drink water.

Previously, in an interview, she opened up about celebrating all festivals, irrespective of her religion. She said, "I think I have my own way of portraying harmony towards all religions. Born and brought up in Bengal, I feel I am doing right by following culture and tradition. Here, we celebrate all the religious festivities."
