The Supreme Court on Saturday cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya. As the verdict came out, not just the people of the country but Bollywood celebrities also took to Twitter and other social media platforms to give in their two cents about the judgement.
Taapsee Pannu, Farhan Akhtar and Kangana Ranaut among others took to Twitter and asked the citizens to accept the verdict with grace. They also said that this judgement was a proof that everyone can ‘coexist peacefully’.
In the unanimous judgement, the five-member bench directed the Centre to form within three months a trust, which will build a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.
The top court also asked the government to give alternate land to the Sunni Waqf Board, which was a party to the title suit.
