November 23, 2017 witnessed the beautiful union on Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge and cricketer Zaheer Khan. The lovebirds, who got engaged in April, had a court marriage yesterday. While a grand wedding reception is scheduled on November 27 at Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in Mumbai, Sagarika and Zaheer hosted a post- wedding party on Thursday night. Several celebrities such as Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Parthiv Patel and so on attended the bash in style. Sagarika's powder pink lehenga was the highlight of the night while Zaheer stole the show in his all-black attire.

Sachin Tendulkar made a grand entry with wife Anjali who looked pretty in pink. The post wedding party was a starry affair with cricketers and actors close to the couple attending it.

It is a strange co-coincidence that in her film Chak De India she was shown dating a cricketer while in real life the case is similar. When asked about it, she said, “Like everybody who is getting married, I think there is always stress, yet there is a lot of excitement because it’s a wedding that you are planning. So, we have all those emotions going on right now.”

Sagraika and Zaheer met through common friends and dated for almost years before making their relationship. The actress says that they are like any other couple. "Zaheer is so easy to be around and so grounded despite achieving so much. I have so much respect for him," added Sagarika

Talking about their inter-religious marriage, Sagarika Ghatge said that her parents are openminded and their primary concern was that she marry the right person. “I am sure they may have had their apprehensions, but after meeting him, it cleared a lot of things for them. He is perfect”, the actress said.
