Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor rang in their 35th wedding anniversary on May 19. The duo tied the knot in 1984 after dating for over 10 years. This power-couple of Bollywood is a perfect example of togetherness and love. Even after 35 years of marriage, Anil and Sunita look much in love. Celebrating 35 years of marital bliss, the couple hosted a bash at a posh restaurant in Mumbai. Their wedding anniversary party was attended by their close friends such as David Dhawan, wife Lali Dhawan, Chunky Panday, wife Bhavana Panday among others.

We all know that Sunita Kapoor like staying away from the limelight. Recently in an interview with Hindustan Times, Anil Kapoor revealed an incident when he almost fell at Sunita Kapoor's feet while convincing her for a magazine photo shoot. ''She's not media shy, she just doesn’t speak to the media. She wants to lead a normal life. I respect her decision, but sometimes, that went against me. I also wanted to project myself in front of the public, have a few [magazine] covers done [that said] HAPPY FAMILY’ ANIL KAPOOR’S WIFE’. Maine badi koshish ki I am getting this cover, that cover’, almost fell at her feet ki photo lele yaar’. What to do?,'' he said.
On their wedding anniversary, Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to share a heart-warming message for his loving wife. ''The best thing that ever happened to me is you...Our life together has been one big adventure & through it all, you were my love, are my love & will be my love till my last breath. Your love & support is the reason for who and what I am. Thank you for the best 11 years of dating & 35 years of marriage! I can't wait to spend the next 46 with you! On the professional front, Anil Kapoor was last seen in Total Dhamaal. He is currently shooting for Pagalpanti and will also start working on Takht, Malang and a biopic on Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, which features Harshvardhan Kapoor in pivotal role. Recently, he even teased his fans by hinting at a collaboration with his Mr. India director Shekhar Kapur. Reports suggested that the actor-director duo is coming back with Mr. India sequel but Anil refuted such rumours.
Talking about his career graph and film choices, Anil told PTI, "I have three films releasing both this year and in 2020. I feel it is less. There should be at least four films a year. I have the strength and energy to do more films even now. I am ready to fail. At most the film will flop. For me it's ok. I will work hard for the next one and hope it will do better''.
