Reports are doing rounds that Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia charged whopping amount of Rs 50 lakh for her 10-minute performance at IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony.

Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia will be setting the stage on fire with her scintillating performance at Vivo IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony today. Ahead of her performance, she is trending on social media because of the reports which claim the actress has charged whopping amount of Rs 50 lakhs for a 10-minute performance at the gala event. She will be sharing the stage with ace choreographer-filmmaker Prabhu Deva at Wankhede Stadium on Saturday. Shiamak Davar has choreographer the performance for her as well as Hrithik Roshan.

Ahead of her performance, the Baahubali actress has shared the pictures from her rehearsal session on the social media, which went trending on Saturday. Talking about her performance at IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony, she told IANS, “Before this, I have never performed for a sports event and of course, when you are on a stage there is a certain feeling of nervousness and excitement. As a performer, the feeling to perform in a stadium and to feel the energy of the audience will be completely different. I am excited because there is no better sports event than IPL to perform for. We are all crazy about cricket and it's the opening night.”

Tamannaah also confessed to being a Chennai Super Kinds supporter however, she also assured that her performance will be with pan-Indian feel.

"Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad feel like my own because I belong to all these cities. This time, my performance is going to be on four songs in four languages. There is Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and a Hindi song. So it goes out to pretty much the whole of India," she told IANS.

Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra were also scheduled to perform at IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony. However, due to shoulder injury, the Padmaavat actor will be giving a miss to the gala event. Parineeti Chopra also rejected the offer to perform owing to her packed schedule.
