Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have tied the knot and, the newlyweds have taken the internet by storm. The congratulatory messages from fans and celebs have flooded social media. Now, there’s a lot of buzz regarding the guests of the much-awaited wedding of the year. According to latest reports, besides family and close friends two celebrities were invited to attend Virushka’s wedding in Italy. The celebs were none other than Sachin Tendulkar and Shah Rukh Khan, the reports suggest.
Furthermore, it was reported that while Anushka invited her first Bollywood hero SRK, Virat invited his cricket godfather Sachin to the wedding. However, neither Sachin nor SRK could make it to the wedding and, the reasons behind it are still unknown.
Anushka and Virat ended days of suspense and media speculation about their wedding plans by getting married in a private ceremony. It was attended by close family members and friends, at a resort in Tuscany, Italy.
It was in Shah Rukh's "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" that Anushka made her Bollywood debut. The film released exactly on this date (December 12), in 2008.
"Ab yeh hui na real Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (Now this is what I call real Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi). My love to both Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. May God bless you with happiness and health," Shah Rukh, who worked with her in "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and "Jab Harry Met Sejal", tweeted.
Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wrote, "Congratulations and best wishes to the just married Virat and Anushka. You both look wonderful together."
