Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar tied the knot with girlfriend Sanya Sagar in Lucknow. The intimate two-day ceremony was followed by a reception bash in Mumbai, which was attended by several Bollywood and TV celebrities including Dalip Tahil, Anup Soni, Karan Tacker. It was a theme-based party and the newlyweds caught everyone's attention with their swag. Prateik and Sanya arrived in a vintage car for the reception as camera bulbs flashed incessantly.

While Prateik wore a white shirt and pinstriped suit along with a scarf and black hat. His vintage glasses, formal shoes and premium walking stick added to the feel. On the other hand, his lady luck Sanya looked gorgeous in a black gown with sheer tulle and feather on her forehead. The couple didn't forget to seal their love with a kiss. Prateik, who has impressed the audience with his performance in films like Jaane Tu…Ya Jane Na and Ekk Deewana Tha got engaged to his girlfriend Sanya Sagar last year on January 22. The duo has known each other for almost eight years but they dated for just two years before solemnising their love.

For unversed, Sanya Sagar is a graduate from National Institue of Fashion Technology in fashion communication and has practical filmmaking from the London film academy. Both, Prateik and Sanya’s fathers, Raj Babbar and Pawan Sagar are in politics, however, it is said that the couple’s love for cinema brought them together. Talking about his life partner, Prateik in one his interviews had said, ''She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd, but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life''.

On the professional front, Prateik was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's socio-political film, Mulk.
