Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comeback movie Veere Di Wedding is making all the noise on the social media as well as at the box office. The film has successfully minted over Rs 40 crore at the domestic box office. Prior to its release, the Veeres Kareena, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsain’s rocker-chic looks for the promotional event did all the talking. During one of those promotional events, Kareena Kapoor Khan took us back into the time when she danced on Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
When RJ Malishka insisted Kareena Kapoor Khan to show some moves from the popular song from K3G, she couldn’t resist. While she danced merrily on Bole Chudiyan, we couldn’t help but think how this flamboyant actress has evolved from a bubbly Poo to Kalindi Puri in Veere Di Wedding. It’s been 18 years since Kareena shuffled her way into Bollywood in Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Recently making her second innings in Bollywood, she has further nailed the fact that she’s here to stay.
Kareena Kapoor Khan experimented a great deal when it comes to picking scripts. From a nonchalant college-going girl in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham to a paranormal entity in Talaash, the actress has her hands on in everything. In Veere Di Wedding, she plays the role of a commitmentphobic urban woman Kalindi Puri who is about to get married.
Kareena Kapoor has returned on the silverscreen after a hiatus of two years. Meanwhile, she was keeping busy with her first born Taimur Ali Khan. As she makes a comeback, she promised her fans that she’ll try to do one movie every year. This means, we’ll get to see more of Kareena Kapoor Khan now when Veere Di Wedding is a massive hit at the box office.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has already signed two projects. She is roped in Karan Johar’s film opposite Akshay Kumar. Grapevine has it that she will be featuring in Salute opposite Shah Rukh Khan however, it hasn’t been finalised as yet.
