The trailer of Raazi featuring actress Alia Bhatt has released today and it is getting rave reviews from movie buffs. The story of the film revolves around a girl Sehmat, who gets married to a Pakistani man but continues to work as a spy for India. A meme compared the story’s plot to Indian sportsperson Sania Mirza’s life and it seems like the lady didn’t like it.
Reacting to it, Sania wrote, “Ummm.. I think not.”
Raazi is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Alia revealed to a leading daily that her father Mahesh Bhatt whistled while watching the film whereas her mother had tears in her eyes. The movie looks promising. It is yet to be seen if the lady manages to spell magic with it.
Raazi is all set to hit the screens on May 11. Will Alia’s performance impress critics? We will come to know this in coming time.
On the professional front, Alia is also occupied with the work of Ayan Mukerji’s directorial venture Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor. She will also be seen sharing the screen space with Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy.
