After Anupam Kher revealed his look of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for The Accidental Prime Minister, here is the actress who will play Sonia Gandhi in the much-awaited political drama. German-born Suzanne Bernert has been roped in to essay the role of former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. Based on Sanjay Baru's book of the same name, the film also features Akshaye Khanna as political commentator Sanjay Baru
and Lipstick Under My Burkha fame Aahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi. The movie helmed by debutante director Vijay Ratnakar Gutte has Hansal Mehta as a creative producer.
Those who don't know Suzanne must go through her social media handles. She has worked in many TV shows including Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. She played a villain in the historical drama. This is not the first time, she is essaying the role of Sonia Gandhi. She earlier portrayed the role in a TV series titled Pradhanmantri, hosted by actor-director Shekhar Kapur.

On Thursday, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram account to share his first look from the movie. In the pictures, he shared an uncanny resemblance to the former PM.
