After accusing veteran actor Nana Patekar, Tanushree Dutta has now alleged that Vivek Agnihotri misbehaved with her in 2005. However, the Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress praised Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan for supporting her at that time.
While recalling an incident, Tanushree said that during the shooting of 2005 film Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets, she was asked to strip and dance without any warning. She added that actors Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan, who were also present on the film sets, stood up for her.
Tanushree in an interview to DNA, said, “Vivek Agnihotri asked me to give cues to my co-star Irrfan Khan. It was Irrfan's close-up shot and not mine. I was not even part of that shot. In his close-up shot, Irrfan was supposed to look at something and give expressions. This director, he told me ‘jao jaake kapde utaar ke naacho, usko cues do (go strip and dance, give (Irrfan) cues’.”
Further Tanushree added that Irrfan opposed Vivek and said that he can do his act without taking any cues from her. According to Tanushree, Suniel was also present on the film sets and said that he will give cues to Irrfan if needed.
Tanushree in an interview to Zoom, said, “Everyone knows about Nana Patekar that he has always been disrespectful towards women. Everyone in film industry know about his background... that he has misbehaved with actresses.'' Tanushree added, ''He has molested actresses, but no publication ever wrote anything about it.”
Meanwhile, Nana Patekar in an interview to Mirror Now, called her allegations false. He said, "What can I say why she is saying it? How do I know why she is saying this? What does she mean by sexual harassment? There were 50-100 people on the set with me." "I'll take legal action against her. But it is waste telling media about it because you will play up anything. Whatever people want to say, they can say. But I will continue doing my work," he added.
