From interviews to event appearances, the actors are asked just one thing- ‘When are you getting married?’ Even on LIVE social media chats now, Ranveer Singh is quizzed about his wedding with Deepika Padukone by popular comedian Tanmay Bhat.
Comedian Tanmay Bhat called up Ranveer Singh for a late night Instagram live on Sunday and when he was quizzed about his wedding, Ranveer had the most hilarious reaction. Tanmay Bhat asked, “I have one question, shaadi kab hai (when is the wedding),” to which Ranveer replied, “Ae chalna! What are you? F*cking Pinkvilla?,” and both of them broke into a fit of laughter.
Tanmay Bhat has been a close friend of both Ranveer and Deepika and keeps commenting on their photographs regularly. Not Just Ranveer but Deepika is also asked about her marriage at every occasion. Just recently, Deepika attended an event for a discussion on mental health titled Finding Beauty in Imperfection, organized by FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) in New Delhi when she was asked about her wedding. Deepika refused to answer the question saying, “I am certainly not answering this question... It’s an extremely insensitive question to ask at an event like this.”
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s marriage rumours have been all over the internet since a source has confirmed to Filmfare that the duo will be having a destination wedding in Italy on November 20. The reports stated, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalized Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place.”
While the actors have never accepted their love for each other publicly, they have also never shied away from getting clicked by the paparazzi on several occasions. Many times Ranveer and Deepika are spotted walking hand in hand with each other.
Well, if the wedding is really happening, we can’t wait to see Deepika Padukone as a bride and Ranveer’s wedding outfits are definitely something to get excited about. Will he add his quirkiness to his wedding attire as well? We can only wish!
