It seems like Mira Rajput was tad serious when she told in an interview that she wants a second baby before she starts working again. Earlier, there were rumours that Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira are all set to welcome baby number 2 as the lady was frequently spotted in comfy and loose clothes. However, there were no confirmations. But now, the wait is over!
The Kapoor couple themselves took to Instagram to announce this great news to their fans. They shared a picture of Misha holding a bunch of balloons. On the top of the picture, it’s written, ‘Big Sister’, which clearly indicates Mira Rajput’s pregnancy.
Soon after, congratulatory comments started pouring in on both Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s picture. In no time, the picture received more than thousands of likes.
Last year, in an interview with a leading daily, Mira Rajput was asked about her career plans. Here’s what she said, “Yes, I would love to work, especially in a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food, or lifestyle.”
When asked about the deadline, she said, “No, because I am going to have another baby, and then decide.”
Shahid Kapoor also spoke to GQ about their family plans. He said, “Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid soon as well. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes."
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot in 2015. They welcomed their first child Misha in 2016.
