Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput Kapoor are on cloud nine these days with the arrival of their little bundle of joy Zain Kapoor. Mira gave birth to a baby boy on 5th September and the couple named them Zain. While Zain is obviously the center of attention now, actor Shahid Kapoor made sure that his first child Misha doesn’t feel ignored, which is why he even called a promotional shoot of his upcoming flick Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
Shahid Kapoor was supposed to shoot for an episode of the reality show India’s Best Dramebaaaz for the promotions of Batti Gul Meter Chalu but he canceled it to take care of his little daughter Misha who is not keeping well. According to the reports in Pinkvilla, a source the publication, "Shahid hasn’t slept a wink for the past 30-35 hours as he is taking care of his daughter Misha who is keeping unwell. He even cancelled his shoot for India’s Best Dramebaaaz as he wanted to be there for Mira, who is currently recovering post-pregnancy, Misha and their baby boy Zain. The team of Batti Gul Meter Chalu also didn’t go."
Undoubtedly, Daddy duties come first for Shahid Kapoor. It is also learned that the actor is planning to take a paternity leave to help Mira take care of Zain and Misha for some time and then will start shooting for his next film, Hindi remake of Telegu film Arjun Reddy.
On the other hand Mira, who is now a mother of two kids, a daughter Misha and a son Zain, post the birth of her son spoke at length about breastfeeding. In an interaction with Zoomtv.com, Mira said, ‘’I have spoken about the importance of feeding the baby in the past too. I was extremely religious with Misha and I am going to do the same with my newborn. It is the greatest gift you can give your baby.”
