Will Sara Ali Khan’s big Bollywood debut happen with Simmba, not Kedarnath?
Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath could be further postponed because the makers reportedly don’t want to clash with Rajinikanth’s 2.0.
Saif Ali Khan’s darling daughter Sara Ali Khan has been in the news for her debut film Kedarnath but not entirely for the good reasons. This is no news that the movie has been postponed many times in the past due to various controversies and court cases.
Kedarnath was on a hold for weeks after Abhishek Kapoor's company and former co-producer KriArj Entertainment got into a legal dispute regarding the film's funding. It was not until April after Ronnie Screwvala coming on board as a Producer that the movie got back in the game. But now the buzz has it that it has further been delayed and might not serve as Sara Ali Khan’s debut film.
The movie was finally settled for November release date but now it is learned that Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath could be further postponed because the makers reportedly don’t want to clash with Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which is likely to open in cinemas on November 30.

On the other hand, Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar’s co-production Simmba will most probably wrap up by mid-October. Now that Rohit Shetty has completed shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi, he is back in the bay and will start the next schedule from today. Reports in DNA suggests, “Rohit, who was in Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi, has arrived in Mumbai and will begin the next schedule today. The film should wrap up by mid-October because it is being readied for a year-end release.”
Looks like makers of Kedarnath have to go through many more tough situations and decisions before the movie see the daylight. Talking about the audience, they are eagerly waiting for the release of both Kedarnatha nd Simmba.
