Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, a biopic on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is getting rave reviews from audience and critics. The Rajkumar Hirani's film is also off to a good start as it minted over Rs 34 crore on its opening day. Besides, Ranbir Kapoor's performance, viewers are also appreciating Vicky Kauhsal's stellar act, who plays Dutt's best friend Kamli in the movie.
While earlier it was speculated that Vicky is playing the role of Kumar Gaurav in the flick, now it has been confirmed that the character is based on Dutt's NRI friend Paresh Ghelani. Dutt and Ghelani are extremely close and have been beside each other through thick and thick. Their friendship has been celebrated in Sanju as well in which Vicky is seen supporting Ranbir no matter what.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Paresh moved to America quite early in his life and is settled in Los Angeles now. He is an entrepreneur and has been part of companies like Moon Express, Xprize and Radimmune. Both Sanju and Paresh met in New York in their early teens and since then, the duo has been into each other's life.
We get a glimpse of their rock-solid bond and strength in the movie. Celebrity watchers have witnessed their friendship since many years.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal aka Kamli in Sanju surely proved that sometimes hero’s friend can be as impressive as the hero himself.
